ABOUT US:
Since 2008, BEings has been presenting dance meant to engage its viewer on an intimate level. We aim to produce work that is relevant and relatable in order to leave the viewer with a feeling of understanding. It is of utmost importance to allow our audience to experience the vulnerability that is produced by putting a feeling onstage and become relatable on a human level. From this principle, our name is found. BEings aims to put thoughts into action by integrating a wide spread dance vocabulary towards the work.
Work has been presented at Steps On Broadway, Dance New Amsterdam, the World Financial Center’s Winter Garden, the FAR Space, Galapagos Arts Space, Jennifer Muller’s HATCH Presenting Series at The Works’ Studio, The SITE Festival as a part of Arts in Bushwick, WAXworks at Triskelion Arts Center, FIGMENT on Governors Island, The Avant Garde Festival at Judson Dance Theatre, Break The Mold!, dumbo Dance Festival, The Elan Awards Summer Dance Festival in Provincetown, MA, and various other venues.
